Blood Near Me is a free, community-run platform that helps connect people who need blood with nearby, currently-available donors across Kerala. We notify eligible nearby volunteers when a request is submitted, keep donor availability up to date on a 90-day cycle, and let matched donors and requesters coordinate a donation directly. Blood Near Me does not itself collect, store, transport, or supply blood, and is not a hospital, blood bank, or medical provider — we connect people; the donation itself happens between you, the donor or requester you're matched with, and a licensed medical facility.
Blood Near Me is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. If you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service or the nearest hospital directly — do not wait on a match through this platform. Whether a specific donor is medically fit to donate on a given day is determined by the blood bank or hospital at the time of donation, not by this platform; a donor showing as "available" here is not a guarantee of eligibility or a medical clearance.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and you must provide accurate information about yourself (or, if you're submitting a request on behalf of a patient, accurate information about that patient) when registering or requesting blood. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
If you submit a request — for yourself or on behalf of a patient — you agree to provide accurate patient, hospital, and contact details, to use donor contact information only to coordinate that donation, and not to share a matched donor's phone number or other details with anyone outside that coordination. Reporting a donor's number as not connecting is meant to flag a genuine contact-quality issue for other requesters, not as a way to penalise a donor for being unavailable — please use it honestly.
Don't use Blood Near Me to harass, impersonate, or misrepresent yourself or anyone else; to submit fraudulent, exaggerated, or fictitious requests; to scrape, resell, or redistribute donor or requester data obtained through the platform; or to attempt to access another user's account or any part of the system you're not authorised to use. We may suspend or remove an account that we reasonably believe is doing any of this.
Blood Near Me is free to use for both donors and requesters. We don't charge for registration, matching, or notifications, and we don't sell your data — see our Privacy Policy for how we handle information you give us.
You can stop using the platform, mark yourself unavailable, or ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms, provides information we reasonably believe is false, or misuses the platform in a way that could put other users at risk.
Blood Near Me is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to notify eligible nearby donors promptly and to keep matching information current, but we can't guarantee that a donor will be found, will respond, or will turn out to be eligible at the time of donation, or that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blood Near Me and Docking Station Technologies are not liable for any harm, loss, or dispute arising from a donation, a missed or delayed match, or information shared between users — the actual coordination and medical decision-making between a donor, a requester, and a hospital or blood bank remains between those parties.
If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we'll update this page and change the effective date above. Continuing to use Blood Near Me after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of Blood Near Me will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala.
